PIC – Legal Center for the Protection of Human Rights and the Environment is part of the CROSIIT network. The network consists of NGOs and monitors violations of the fundamental human rights of people fleeing and their access to the asylum process.
Since 2018, NGOs in Slovenia have been witnessing systematic violations of restrictions on access to the asylum procedure and illegal pushbacks of persons seeking international protection in Slovenia. CROSIIT is thus strengthening awareness-raising on violations of the fundamental human rights of migrants along the so-called Balkan route, advocacy and strategic litigation of cases before national and European courts and United Nations committees.
